Yukon & Ruby E, Sat Feb 9, 2008

Gladly accepted an request to take a guest on a guided tour to the Yukon & Ruby E. Dolphins and sea lions were enjoying the sunshine and a school of baitfish on the way out. Very little swell, but had strong surges near the cutouts. Dropped down and on the stern buoy (only stern and forward guns buoys remain), and worked our way forward to the bridge, before our turn pressure required us to head back towards the boat. Great dive and fun adventure. Temp seemed a lot colder than the 53F my Suunto read. Saw a massive lingcod inside the observation tower.

Got to the Ruby E, stern buoy is now attached, but bow buoy is missing, bow mooring line is neatly wrapped on the forward rail and awaiting a buoy. Saw more Dolphins and sea lions chasing a school of baitfish near the surface. I think the viz was actually a bit better than the Yukon, maybe 25 ft. There was a bit of a current going through, but otherwise a great dive.
